Abstract

As we all know,Interestplays an important role in the process of English learning .Forstudents,interest is the driving force to learn actively and promotedevelopment. Traditional teaching has been unable to adapt to the newcurriculum reform requirements of the "people-oriented" teachingphilosophy, but situational teaching has become an effective way to stimulate students' interest in learning,

Therefore, as a primaryschool English teacher, it is necessary for teachers to be good at observingstudents. According to characteristics of primary school students, teachershould use effective and appropriate situational teaching methods to stimulatestudents' interest in English learning This paper studies and discusses how to improve learning interestthrough situational teaching.
